Writing/Reading to a file

Hi!

I have a Raspbery Pi and now i want to read and write some variables to file, I don't need any fancy INI or CSV functionallity, but ofcourse I can go that way if thats "needed".

Can anyone please provide me with at small example of reading and writing to file?
