Hello,

I ma using OSCAT and am very satisfy. I would like to help to improving it. Then I have a some questions about DEAD_ZONE and CTRL_IN :

DEAD_ZONE :

In documentation, the picture is identical for DEAD_BAND and DEAD_ZONE but functionality is different.

I think functional picture of DEAD_BAND may be not totally correct. I think DEAD_ZONE functional graphic it may be a more like DEAD_ZONE_2, but without hysteresis ?

CTRL_IN :

I notice that DEAD_ZONE has been used for CTRL_IN. As a result, the output of regulator CTRL_PI jump when we cross the DEAD_ZONE limit. This may result in regulation instability.

To avoid this issue, I personally would have worked with DEAD_BAND instead of DEAD_ZONE.

Would it be possible and suitable to replace DEAD_ZONE by DEAD_BAND in CONTROL_IN?

Best Regards

Cyril
